SMS terms
A phone number is asked for on our forms so that a person can reach you about the request you made. Messaging is a separate, optional programme with its own box, its own consent sentence and its own stop instruction, and the rest of this page is that programme.
The consent you are asked for
I agree to receive a recurring text from Odds & Markets when each weekly Line Comparison Report is published, up to 1 msg/week. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of receiving the report, of buying anything, or of using this site. See our terms at oddsandmarkets.com/terms and our privacy policy at oddsandmarkets.com/privacy. We never text about a live price or about when to place a bet.
This is the exact sentence shown on the form and stored against the record of your signup, printed here from the same source.
The programme
- Program
- One recurring message when each weekly Line Comparison Report is published. Nothing else is sent to a subscriber of this program.
- Frequency
- Up to one message a week.
- Cost
- We charge nothing for messages. Message and data rates may apply from your own carrier.
- Stop
- Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive one confirmation and then nothing further from the program.
- Help
- Reply HELP to any message, or write to hello@oddsandmarkets.com.
- Carriers
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and we cannot promise delivery. The report is always available by email and on the site whether a message arrives or not.
- Eligibility
- You must be 21 or older and the account holder of the mobile number, or have the account holder's permission.
What we never do
- We never text about a live price, a line move, or when to place a bet.
- We never sell, rent or share a phone number with an advertiser or an affiliate network.
- Consent to messaging is never a condition of receiving the report or of using this site.
- A number given on a form is never enrolled in messaging unless the separate messaging box on that form was ticked.
